how to check the current documents file size in ms word

Curious how much room the current Microsoft Word 2003 takes up on your hard drive? Don't jump back to Explorer - you can view this information inside Word.

1. Save the current document. Use "File" - "Save", or "File" - "Save As" if you haven't already given the document a name or want to save a backup copy.
2. Once the file has saved, choose "File" - "Properties".
3. When the "Properties" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, select "General".

Next to "Size" you can view the current document's file size on disk.
