One of the most important controls that must be seen to arise from the assessment is the provision of information and training, in order that employees are aware of and understand the workplace risks and know what actions or procedures are required to control these risks.

This fact has been recognised by the creation of individual training records, although it is vital that these are complete and that they show receipt and understanding of the training provided.
