Headline: Looking for a 3 month placement
Candidate details: Ref ZV

Objective

To find a three-month placement in a foreign country between May and July 2005 in computing engineering.

Education

2002-2006: Third year student at the Ecole des Mines in France. This engineering school provides multi-disciplinary training in four years and leads to an engineering degree equivalent to a Master’s degree. We study Physics, Automatics, Human Sciences and Computer Science. I specialize in the “Computing Systems Engineering.

2001-2002: Intensive courses in Mathematics to prepare students for the competitive entrance exams of engineering schools.

2000-2001: Scientific baccalaureate, equivalent to “A Levels or High School Diploma.

Work Experience

2003-2004: SBC: 10-day training period, in a team of three. We implemented a software to manage quotations. We implemented all the program in C++ language. It was an office program with some Database.

Summer 2003: SCHERING: a 3-month training period, in which I worked as an operator in the processing department. This involved packing medical products and preparing them for exportation worldwide. This obligatory work placement gave me an insight into work on the factory floor.

Summer 2000: I worked as an operator in the processing department of a firm named “Grande Brasserie Moderne. It was a student job and I had to load pallets with casks of beer. We completed approximately twenty-nine pallets of thirty six casks by day

Projects and other professional experience

March 2004: Company simulation over five days with three other students. I learnt how to manage a company and how the different departments function in a company. We were in charge of a dairy firm. Therefore, a year in the life of a company was simulated in one week.

2002-2003: I became integrated in the Emergence association, which aims to help the new student to integrate the school in good condition. We organised some events, like a week end to the beach to make easier the speaking between all students.
