Responsible for the support and development of Resource 32000 and Resource 3/4/5 financial applications.

Responsibilities and achievements

Providing 1st and 2nd line support to IT administrators and software users.
Resolve queries regarding the installation of software applications: Resource 3/4/5(16bit), Resource 32000 (32bit), Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 -2000, Sybase Adaptive Server 6.0 - 9.0 and Oracle 8i & 9i client.
Implementation support: data migration from customer databases to Resource 32000. Set up of Resource databases in: SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle and Access. Configure customer reports to the database platforms above.
Dial in to client networks to investigate data corruption and report failures.
Help users in parameter set up of Resource Accounting Modules.
As part of Mondas consultancy services I am required to go on site and provide: SQL Server installation and administration, resolve data corruption and report failures. Also resolve ad hoc user training queries.

Key development role:

Project manage Resource 3/4/5 upgrades to Resource 32000.
Assist the development team in software version control.
Provide a software-testing environment in house e.g. operating systems, database platforms and hardware.
Attend user group meetings and exhibitions to help the sales team with technical demonstrations, software enhancements and sales referrals.

A role I took on during my academic studies at University ( at weekends and holidays).

Responsibilities and achievements

Development and maintenance of client base through effective communication, organisation and inter-personal skills.
Customer care and service provided to client base and special promotional services used to cater for key accounts such as charge card holders.
Marketing, merchandising, stock control, budgeting, forecasting and security of the menswear department.
Reporting to store managers and head office departments by producing weekly sales analysis reports against targets.

Sales ledger Clerk - Michael Page Plc: Coding Invoices to be processed into the sales ledger. Reconciling bank statements to the cash book. Resolving customer queries.
Finance Assistant - Comdisco: To assist the financial accountants in Go Live for the new CODA Accounts package. Ensuring that opening balances on ledgers reconcile to the archived accounts data. Also help in the migration of legacy data into sales, purchase and general ledgers.
Banking Assistant - Tie Rack Plc: Sole responsibility of nine retail outlets within the organisation. Duties include: inputting daily banking into the cash book, reconciling branch accounts with head office records.

My duties were predominantly in customer service ( P/T work during studies).

    H & H Associates will charge a fee of 25% of the canididates first year's remuneration, payable in two parts. Half, payable on start and the other half after the three month probationary period.

    Where the candidiate is on an H & H Associates trainee scheme and the Company only pays expenses to the trainee, then the fee will be based 20% based on the current market rate that will be agrred with the company. 

    Under the trainee scheme you will be disginated a member of staff with a relevant degree who will work with you for a minimum of six months on a 9.00am to 5.00pm basis, paying only his/her travel expenses.

    All we ask is that you complete his training record on a monthly basis. If at the end of the six month period the company decides to give the trainee a full time job then H & H Associates will charge 20% of the first year's remuneration.
